You sat outside, munching on a red apple as you basked in the sun's glory. It was a bright, beautiful day, and everyone decided to seize the opportunity. Even you decided to go outside for a change.
You were on a bench in just the right place to see all the commotion spurring at the school. You saw Eren and Jean bickering as usual, Christa and Ymir chatting underneath the shade of a tree, and Annie, Berholdt, and Reiner playing basketball with some others.
There was someone missing.
Was it Mikasa? No.. You just saw her drag Eren away from Jean. Sasha and Connie? Nope. Marco? You had just spotted him with Jean a moment ago. Your (e/c) eyes surveyed the campus grounds to seek who was missing.
You pushed up your glasses up your nose, recalling the name. In fact, you don't know how you missed him in the first place.
Armin Arlert.
No doubt, you had it bad for Armin. You were infatuated with him since the beginning of the school year when the two of you were introduced, thanks to Mikasa. Your (h/c) hair that swung in its high ponytail swished as your head turned back and forth to get a glance of the blonde.
Little did you know they were hiding from you on purpose.
Armin and Eren crouched down in a bush, watching you from afar. "Just look at her," Armin whined. Eren shook his head sympathetically for his lovesick friend. "Armin, it's time." Eren announced.
Armin's pale blue eyes widened. He shook his head rapidly. "No. No way. Nope. Can't do this." Armin said. Eren rolled his eyes and moved Armin's head to force him to look at you.
"She's looking for you, Armin." Eren said. A light blush dusted Armin's cheeks as he averted his gaze downcast. "I-I don't know what to say..." Armin stammered. Eren patted Armin's back. "No problem!"
Eren shuffled through his messenger bag and pulled out a deck of index cards triumphantly. "This, my friend," said Eren, plopping the stack into Armin's palms. "Is the guide how to confess to girls." Armin flipped through the pages, his eyes widening.
"Where did you get this?" he asked, curious to as of why Eren would even have this. Eren shrugged. "Found it on the floor in between class."
Armin bit his bottom lip. Would this seriously work? What if you rejected him? "Are you sure this is going to work?" Armin worriedly asked. "Positive." assured Eren. "Now go!"
Eren pulled Armin up by his arm and pushed him out of his hiding place. Armin shot a glare Eren's way, but Eren just grinned. Armin swallowed his fear and approached you.
You were on the bench, your nose in a book. Armin read the title, The Fault in Our Stars. Armin smiled. He had recommended that book to you last week. It was quite nice to know you were reading it.
You felt a presence in front of you and flicked your gaze upwards. A smile spread across your face almost instantly. "Armin!" you happily said. Armin couldn't exactly seem to place his words, as he nervously stumbled over them.
"I, uh, (y/n)..." he stammered. You tilted your head in confusion. "Everything okay, Armin?" you asked. Armin gulped, forcing a smile and clutching the notecards in front of him. "Everything's fine, (y/n)! No sweat!" he tried to assure you. You raised an eyebrow.
"I don't believe you." you said. "Hey... (y/n)?" said Armin. You set down your book cover up, folding your hands in your lap. "Armin?" you said, looking at him expectantly.
Armin stuttered terribly, seeming to fall on his words. He shuffled through the cards, clearing his voice. "Hey.. So.. Uh..." he started. "Did y-you f-f-fall from h-heaven, because, um.." Armin stammered, his hands shaking of anxiety.
Oh my God, you thought, a wide smile spreading across your face. The cards slip out of Armin's hands and float onto the ground carelessly. Armin's eyes widen.
"Shit, fuck, oh God, I'm sorry," Armin rambled, raking his fingers through his blonde locks. "I just..." Armin looked at you helplessly. "Y-you're s-so p-p-pretty, I'm sorry," he said.
You opened your mouth to say something, your goofy grin wiped off completely. Your (e/c) went wide, staring at Armin with an agape mouth. Quickly, you shut your mouth, not knowing what to say.
Then, a smile tugged the corner of your lips up as you jumped up and hugged Armin tightly. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you pulled him towards you in a hug, smiling into the crook of his neck.
"That was adorable, oh my God." you said, laughing. Armin blushed terribly. "I, uh, don't have a card for this situation..." Armin murmured. You giggled. "Hey," you said, putting your hands on his neck and pulling back to stare into his blue eyes.
"You could've done it without the cards. You're too cute, Armin." you said, rubbing his neck. Armin's blush intensified as he pulled you into a hug and buried his face to hide his blush into your shoulder.
You kissed his cheek, causing a small yelp to escape his lips. Armin pulled back and bore his icy baby blue eyes into your (e/c) ones. He put a finger under your chin and tilted your head. Then, he closed the gap between your lips.
You smiled into the kiss, happily wrapping your arms around his neck as you stood on your toes to kiss him back.
Too cute, you thought.

My eyes lit up as the young blonde came into view. Armin’s smile made my heart flutter but something else caught my attention. There, on his childish face, sat a big red splotch that I knew would bruise.
“Hey (Y/N).” Armin greeted me in his quiet tone.
If I had a voice I would give him a hello. Knowing I was unable to speak, he simply sighed as he stared at me. The frown remained on my face as I kept my gaze on the mark that graced his cheek.
“So do you want to see the story I wrote today?”
I glared at the thirteen year old but didn’t dwell on the matter. He would tell me eventually; he tells me everyth

Ah, the library. So quiet, so peaceful. It was extremely large, with books stacking against the walls, and even a staircase to get to the top shelf. It's the perfect place to go in college if you're looking for somewhere to finish homework or just read a book. In your case, it was both. Every day after your classes, you'd go to the library, and do your homework, then stay there and read until the librarian told you to get out. Sweet little thing she was. She preferred people call her by her first name, Christa. She'd stay in the library just a little longer so you could enjoy your time. She was technically your only friend. Making friends was

“Eat them! They taste really good!”
“No!” Armin shoved [y/n]’s hand away from his face. “Smarties aren’t good for you! They have a ton of sugar, and stuff!” He went on to rattle on and on about the unhealthiness of Smarties and candy in general.
[Y/n] rolled her eyes and shoved two of said candies into her adorable boyfriend’s mouth while he was talking, muffling his rant with her hand. Involuntarily, Armin swallowed.
“[Y/n]!” He whined. “That was mean…” [Y/n] pouted.
“Armin, you haven’t lived until you&
